GreenBuyback, LLC — Terms & Conditions

By using GreenBuyback.com and the services provided, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.


1. Definitions

  • “Company,” “we,” “our” or “GreenBuyback” refers to GreenBuyback, LLC.

  • “Customer,” “you,” or “your” refers to the individual or entity agreeing to these Terms & Conditions.

  • “Item(s)” means the product(s) you offer, mail, or attempt to sell to GreenBuyback.


2. Requirements for Use

You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age to use our services. Registration is required to sell items on our website, and you must keep your account information current and accurate.


3. Sale and Transfer of Ownership

Upon acceptance of your item(s) by GreenBuyback, ownership and title to the item(s) pass to GreenBuyback, and you are legally bound by the sale. Once payment has been issued (whether by check or PayPal), you no longer have the right to reclaim the item(s).

All items received become the property of GreenBuyback and may be recycled, resold, or reused at our discretion.


4. Risk of Loss and Return Shipment

4.1 Customer’s Risk Until Inspection

You agree that title and risk of loss for any item(s) remain with you until GreenBuyback physically receives and inspects the package at our designated facility. GreenBuyback is not responsible for lost, damaged, empty, or incomplete returns prior to physical receipt and inspection.

4.2 Inspection and Verification

Upon receipt of a return package, GreenBuyback will perform the following:

  • Confirm that the prepaid return label matches the corresponding order.

  • Compare the weight of the package to the expected weight based on advertised specifications.

  • Visually inspect for signs of tampering, damage, or emptiness.

  • Verify that the contents align with your original sale description.


5. Unacceptable Returns (Including Empty Box)

Your item(s) must be included in the return shipment and must conform to the description provided at checkout.

If the returned package is:

  • Empty

  • Contains different or substituted items

  • Contains item(s) materially inconsistent with the description

  • Shows evidence of tampering or fraud

then GreenBuyback reserves the right to:

  1. Refuse payment for the return.

  2. Return the package to you at your expense.

  3. Report suspected fraud to law enforcement and/or the carrier.

  4. Pursue any civil or criminal remedies available for fraudulent or improper returns.

GreenBuyback shall have no obligation to pay for a return shipment that does not contain the item(s) you agreed to sell. This includes empty boxes or incomplete shipments. This clause is intended to deter and address return abuse and fraud in our trade-in process.


6. Fraud Prevention and Carrier Claims

GreenBuyback monitors return shipments for fraudulent activity. If a discrepancy is identified (including an empty return or a mismatched item), GreenBuyback may:

  • Collect and retain all relevant documentation and evidence.

  • File claims with shipping carriers (e.g., UPS) for lost or tampered returns.

  • Notify law enforcement authorities of suspected fraudulent activity.


7. Refusal of Fraudulent Returns

If a return is found to be fraudulent, GreenBuyback will issue no payment to the customer, and may take further action as permitted under law.


8. Liability for Lost or Misdirected Packages

GreenBuyback is not liable for loss, delay, or misdirection of packages caused by carriers, incorrect delivery addresses, acts of nature, or other factors outside of our control. We will assist with carrier claims to the extent reasonably possible, but you remain responsible for the contents of your shipment until accepted by GreenBuyback.


9. Data Deletion and Device Preparation

If you send electronic devices, you are responsible for deleting all personal data and removing SIM or SD cards prior to shipment. GreenBuyback is not responsible for any data left on devices received.


10. Requotes and Condition Discrepancies

If an item received significantly differs from the original description (e.g., condition, model, locks), GreenBuyback may issue a new offer (“requote”). If you reject the requote, GreenBuyback will return your item(s) at no cost.


11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GreenBuyback and its affiliates from any claims, losses, liabilities, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms & Conditions or any misrepresentation regarding the items sold.


12. Termination and Modification

GreenBuyback may modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. GreenBuyback may also terminate your access to the website or services at any time.
